World-Class Medical Facilities in Monterrey

Surgery takes place at Hospital Ángeles Valle Oriente in San Pedro Garza García, Monterrey — accredited operating rooms, advanced laparoscopic and robotic equipment and private rooms, a ~2-hour flight from Houston, Dallas and San Antonio. Your wound check and pathology results are reviewed in person before your return flight.

Surgical Procedure

Laparoscopic myomectomy: the fibroids are removed and the uterine wall is reconstructed through small incisions, under balanced general anesthesia, in 2 to 3 hours, with one night in hospital. Larger or more complex cases may be performed with da Vinci robotic assistance; the choice of approach is explained in your written plan. Wound check and pathology results are reviewed in person at 7 to 10 days, before your return flight.

Frequently asked questions

Will I keep my uterus and my fertility?

Yes — myomectomy removes the fibroids and reconstructs the uterine wall, preserving the uterus. It is the option for women who wish to keep their fertility or their uterus. The best approach (laparoscopic or da Vinci) is explained in your written plan.

Laparoscopic or robotic myomectomy — which one?

Both are minimally invasive. Larger or more complex cases may benefit from da Vinci robotic assistance; the choice is made with you after reviewing your imaging in the video consultation.

How long do I need to stay in Monterrey?

For major laparoscopic or robotic surgery (endometriosis, hysterectomy, myomectomy) plan about 14 days: arrive 7 days before surgery (minimum 3), one night in hospital, and fly home about a week after surgery once the in-person wound check at 7–10 days is done. Operative hysteroscopy is a 2-day trip.

Will I receive a surgical plan and a price before I travel?

Yes. After a video consultation you receive a written surgical plan in English with an itemized quote — surgeon, anesthesia, hospital, hotel and transfers — before you decide to book any flight.

What happens after I go home?

Remote follow-up by WhatsApp and video call, with structured questionnaires at 1, 4 and 10 months completed online from your phone. Validated instruments (EHP-30, PHQ-9, GAD-7, Central Sensitization Inventory) measure your progress before and after surgery.
